Can Quicken staff access your financial information

Hi,

I'm new to the group. I just got off the phone from my free session where they will answer any questions that you have. One thing that concerned me was that the person on the other end of the phone first asked if I wanted to share my screen and I said I wasn't comfortable with that as I didn't want them to see all of my financial information and I just had a few basic questions. I asked if they were able to seem my information, and he said they could, but only during the session. I really like the Simplifi interface and features, but it gives me pause that someone on the other end can access my information. Has anyone run into any issues with this?

    Staff cannot access your data unless you specifically allow them to.

    Hello @krmjo,

    Thanks for reaching out to the community! We at Quicken Simplifi cannot access your personal data unless you provide it. We use Screensharing as a tool to help diagnose & troubleshoot within the program, and can only screen-share when the customer allows it as well. I hope this reassures you going forward.
