IS there any way to move transactions in a manual account to a linked account?

When you link a financial institution and it finds accounts, each account found can either be added as a new account or linked to an existing manual account.

Have not done it as of yet but I think if the transactions are manual in for example Apple Card when you link Apple Card it will bring them in either automatically or by telling it to link. I say a post that it did not create duplicates. Can someone give the procedure step by step?
