When I list my recurring bills, some of them are marked "Paid" and some are marked "past". What's the difference?

Past means that a transaction has not been matched to the bill for the month, so the bill is past its due date in Simplifi. If the bill has been paid, then link the transaction to the recurring series.

Paid means that the bill has been paid and matched to the bill's series. You can see if the transaction matches a bill if the transaction has a circular arrow icon next to it.
