pending transactions

my transaction is not recurring but it is in a pending state so I don't have a recurring transaction for it do I just make it cleared or do I need to do something else to it or wait for my bank to clear transaction

    Is this a transaction you entered manually or was it downloaded from your bank?

    A transaction doesn't have to be related to a recurring transaction to clear in your bank account. Once the transaction clears at your bank and is downloaded it should show as cleared. If it downloaded as a pending transaction, once it clears at the bank it should update to cleared in your Q-Simplifi account register.

    A couple of things to check. If you know the pending transaction has cleared at your bank you can change the transaction from pending to clear. Click on the 3 dots at the right side of the transaction entry then click edit trans action. There is a Pending/Cleared field at the top of the edit window where you can make the change. If the transaction is showing in your register as both a cleared transaction and a duplicate pending transaction you can click the check box next to each one and use the merge feature to combine the two, or just delete the pending transaction if it is a duplicate of a cleared transaction.
