If you delete a category, what happens to future transactions?

Options

I want a single budget for "Health and Fitness". Therefore, say, I delete Gym from under Fitness and create a new subcategory under Health called Gym. How would future transactions (especially from new merchants) that would have been assigned Fitness → Gym be assigned?

Probably will come in as "Unassigned" until you get a few of them and Simplifi learns to correlate those merchants to that category.

Instead of deleting and recreating “Gym” you can instead click on the 3 dot ellipsis select Edit and change the “Subcategory of” by selecting the parent category younwant from the drop-down list. Any new transactions that are already assigned stay put, new transactions from payees with a rule to be categorized “Gym” will still be categorized such and unrecognized transactions from new unrecognized merchants will like @Wedo778 says show up as uncategorized.

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
