Why does Income under "Bills and Payments" show up as $0?
Why does Income under "Bills and Payments" show up as $0 even though Simplifi correctly classifies my paycheck as income?

Do you have 'recurring income' set up, that is, is there a recurring transaction with a category that is an income type of category? (is this income in the next 30 days?)
[edit: this usually only applies to spending plan, not bills and income] If you manually entered income, without a recurring, did you categorize it with a category that is an income type of category?
Those are usually where that comes from.

The income under "Bills and Payments" means your income like rental income, interest earned, salary, paycheck, etc.

So it looks like the Bills and Payment section classifies income only if it is setup as a recurring occurrence. This is not the case with Spending Plan where any transaction classified as Income shows up/add ups correctly. This seems like a gap - there shouldn't be two ways of how Income is calculated and displayed. If you have 'Income in the next x days' as a display field, you should be able to predict it based on past data.

"Bills & Payments" is set up to forecast your income and expenses moving forward. Notice the "Next 30 days" selected at the top of your screenshot. As @RobWilk points out, if you don't have your income set up as recurring into the future, you won't see any income reported in "Bills & Payments." Simplifi is looking for all recurring income and expenses moving forward over a given user defined time period for this page. This is not a report of past or already cleared transactions, it is a forecast of what's coming up.
If you check "Reports" > "Income" and/or "Net Income" I suspect you will see your paycheck income reported there, but you won't see it in "Bills & Payments" for the above reasons.
Click on the "All Recurring" tab at top of the page and you will see the data Simplifi is using to create the "Overview" and "Cash Flow" reports.
Hope that helps.

Hello @IDBudgetGuy,
As @DannyB pointed out, if you don't have recurring reminders set up for your income, then you won't see income data reflected in the Bills and Income section. For more information on creating recurring transactions/reminders, click here. For more information on the Bills and Income section, click here.
I hope this helps!
