AMEX checking account transactions downloading as "Online Transfer / Payment: Debit" (edited)
When linking my amex checking account I find that all the transactions are marked generically as "Online Transfer / Payment: Debit". This makes it a giant pain to know what is what.
I checked my amex account and the transaction name does indeed exist it's just not being retreived by simlifi.
Here is one example.

As can be seen below this is happening on basically all of my transaction history. I have to manually go over each transaction and name it and make sure the categories are correct.
I would like to see the category or something more relevant show up in the names. On my BOA account I get better naming as can be seen below:

It sounds like you're experiencing an issue we've seen pop up with credit unions, so it's strange that you're seeing it with American Express. To clarify, which American Express bank option do you have this account connected to in Quicken Simplifi, i.e. 'American Express - Banking', 'American Express Bank FSB', etc.?
Here are some other questions that will allow us to get a clearer picture of what's going on:
- Are only certain types of transactions downloading this way (i.e. only transactions where a debit card or bill pay was used)?
- Is the issue unique to a specific bank/account (i.e. do you have other banks in Quicken Simplifi that don't have this problem/do you have other accounts with this bank in Quicken Simplifi that don't have this problem)?
