remove automatic exclusion

I let me kids use joint credit cards for certain transactions, and they are automatically withdrawn from my checking acct. I would like to have those withdrawals include in my reports so I can accurately and easily monitor my cash flow. Currently since it is a credit card withdrawal it is automatically excluded from my reports and I have to remember to manually add them.

The credit card charges would be on your reports and spending plan, not transfers. Transfers (which is what credit card payments are) cancel out. You don't want to count the charge and the transfer both as spending.

@mk_, thanks for posting to the Community!

I went ahead and moved this out of Feature Requests for now so we can do some coaching and see if we can get you pointed in the right direction. As mentioned by Rob, only payments to your credit card would be counted as a Transfer and automatically excluded. Charges to the card should be categorized using the applicable Expense Category to properly track the spending. Expense Categories are not automatically excluded from Reports or the Spending Plan.

Let us know if this works for you!

Are their credit cards linked to your Simplifi account? If not, you won't see the transactions on your reports and spending plan, you'd just see when the monthly payment leaves your own checking account. If you want to show those payments automatically you'll want to categorize them as something other than Transfer, as transfers are automatically hidden. You might want to make a custom category for this.
