PayPal - Missing Credit Account (edited)

Hello, I have tried adding PayPal a few times only to have it also not include my PayPal credit account. Help!

Check if you're using the appropriate financial institution, I believe PayPal has multiple financial institution listings, including one specifically for PayPal Credit or Mastercard (they are not the same, one is.a line of credit in paypal, one is a paypal credit card).

When I add my paypal account under paypal credit, it says all accounts are added (the financial institution is linked, but there are no accounts shown)
Is that related to this:

@RobWilk, thanks for posting to the Community with this issue!
To clarify, is this your first time adding the PayPal Credit account, or was it recently connected and has become disconnected? If the former, you are likely being impacted by this issue: [removed link to merged thread]
I know the title of the thread says "credit card", but I looked at the ticket that is still open for the issue (CTP-8002), and it is for the Credit accounts specifically. The ticket is awaiting implementation, so they are working on a fix with our service provider and PayPal.
Let us know!

it was the first time adding the account: looks like you found the right report indicating a fix is coming soon.
Thank you

Sorry I am a bit confused if I should be in this situation or not. I am a new customer and started using Quicken Simplifi about a month or so ago. Initially the Paypal main account and Paypal Credit account (not mastercard credit) imported fine. Then not long after the credit account stopped updating and syncing. No matter what I tried it won't work. I tried re connecting the institution and all it did was add back the main paypal account. Trying to add a new account gives me the same screenshot from "slpeeler". I then deleted the credit account and still no luck re activating the institution just adds back the main paypal account.
I realize this is all happening during the phase of Paypal moving all the credit accounts to credit card accounts (which I never had from Paypal), so not sure if this is because of that or is this something else?
Is (CTP-8002) my situation? How do I look that ticket ID up and follow it, if its my issue?

Hello @Jrunner01,
Thanks for reaching out! Not seeing the account as an option to add is the issue described in CTP-8002. That ticket is an internal ticket, so there isn't any way for you to view/follow the ticket directly. However, you can bookmark this post, since any updates will be posted here.
I hope this helps!

This has been going on for quite a while. I would think that when you pay for an app / software with a yearly subscription, an issue with connecting to a credit account, should not be that complicated to resolve, at least from the customer perspective. Perhaps if this wasn't a paid app or was a small company, not as big as Quicken I could understand. So why should it take this long to get resolved? I am speaking from experience having worked in the software engineering industry for the last 35 years. Our company's paid customers would not put up for this situation, especially for something so basic as connecting a credit account to the software or app, which is the most core process of the app itself.

agreed 100%. This is not even the only account I have this issue with! My Target red card will only pull pending transactions daily. The actual finalized transactions only sync monthly, when my statement comes out. Crazy.

Guys, I understand I could be banned for this comment but hopefully it might still help someone before it gets deleted. The level of support regarding this issue is outstandingly ridiculous (in a bad sense). The issue exists for years and is still there. I stopped using Simplify in 2023 just because of this issue, and went to the competitor instead. [Removed - Disruptive/Speculation]
