Download Spending Plan to .XLS or .CSV

Would like to be able to export / download my spending plan outcome for each month to a .xls or .csv file so I can import into an annual budget tracking spreadsheet I maintain. This helps to provide an annualized budget picture based on actual (past) months, and forecasted (future) months.

Or you can just build this annualized view into the software!  (But an export would be great as a first step).

  • Yes, we desperately need a Spending Plan Report showing the budgeted amount, the actual, and the difference for each month. And the ability to print and download it.

I agree. It would be great to export the spending plan by month. It seems that Simplifi has all this information displayed on screen. I have to take at least 4 screen shots to have a "Spending Report export". Thanks.

  • PLEASE

  • Definitely need to be able to download to .xls file

  • Adding a field to the downloaded CSVs that shows the Bill/Subscription/Other Spending value would significantly help with understanding and managing the Spending Plan.

Adding my vote, and based on the request date I will not hold my breath, but Please, please consider this much needed function.

At least by facilitating an export of Spending plan numbers (not the transactions), it would allow YTD comparison reports to be created externally since the reports that are supplied are limited in their options and must be recreated each time.

    thank you

Wow! This request is 4 years old? I would thing it would be addressed by now. I need this to be able to discuss monthly progress toward living within our budget/spending plan.

  • This report is vital for being able to have a conversation with my family about spending.

    double DITTO.
glad I wasn’t waiting for this to be done but it would save me from creating my own excel file with spending plan by category and month.
I only have to do it once a year but it leaves room for data errors.

With that, and downloaded transactions I created an MS Access program to generate a YTD report/ Excel file with months across the top and all categories so I can see at a glance how my spending plan and expenses are tracking on one page , and compare to income.
