Using Simplifi to budget (edited)
I currently use Quicken Classic Desktop and have used it for many years. The main reason I use it is to project how much I have to spend for the month. I do this by entering all my upcoming income and payments in "Manage Bills & Income Reminders". Once a month I manually add the upcoming data for the next 30 or sometimes 60 days. All my bills and income are automatically paid and I check daily with my bank and match them up and make sure they've cleared. Is this something that Simpli can do easily? Can all my existing data be uploaded into Simpli?

At this time, you are not able to transfer your Quicken Classic data into Simplifi.
Quicken Simplifi does have a robust cash flow feature associated with each account and in the Bills & Payments Cash Flow page where you can select which accounts you want to look at and compare.
The Spending Plan in Quicken Simplifi comes closest to the "Manage Bills & Income Reminders" in Quicken Classic, I switched from QC to QS over 2 years ago, so it's been a while since I did anything in QC. But, in QS you will have your recurring income and expenses identified and/or you can add any that are not caught by QS during the setup process. Once identified QS will add them to your monthly Spending Plan to calculate what you have available after all recurring income and recurring bills, subscriptions and any savings contributions you want to track. Out of the available pool, you can go into the Planned Spending section and set target amounts for any flexible expenses you plan for the month. Once these planned spending targets are set QS will calculate what you have still remaining for the month that is not designated for any of your fixed expenses, planned savings contributions or for your flexible expenses.
QS functions differently than QC but I have found QS to me more than adequate for my own personal financial management needs. The QS Spending Plan will give you an overview of each month based on your identified recurring and planned expenses regardless of which accounts are used. The Cash Flow projections on the other hand, are account specific. I don't know if that is the case in QC's "Manage Bills & Income Reminders."
Hope that helps. 🙂
