Post 06/20 - [Tracker] Mint Users with no csv files to import historical data (older than 7+yrs)
It seems like the there is no option today (06/20 onwards) to get accurate mint.com transaction data.
The article from intuit to get mint.com data that is available gives transaction_*.txt files formatted as json with no amount field populated. But all the transaction dates are there.
Even if you had requested mint data to be sent to creditkarma.com - they do not have all of it. Otherwise - the solution posted here would have same count of transactions as the mint.com data download from intuit article listed above.
I am creating this discussion to keep track of any solutions for the following problem:
- How to get Mint transaction data post 06/20/2024 from Mint.com or creditkarma.com to try and upload to simplifi accounts.
If anyone has pointers / methods they try and worked, it will be great to share it here.
other discussions:
- Doesn't seem to work: Missing AMOUNT field values in transaction.
- Doesn't seem to work: Creditkarma doesn't have all the transactions from mint. Some accounts BOFA only have last 7 years of data.

Hello @SRJ,
If you have access to the data, then this article may be helpful for importing it into Quicken Simplifi:
.If you don't have access to the data and you're not able to get it from Mint or Credit Karma, then you may need to see if you can find the data elsewhere. Some financial institutions allow you to get historical data from that far back; it can't hurt to check if the financial institution(s) you do business with offer that or not. If you exported reports from Mint, then you may be able to find the data you need in those reports. If you save financial institution statements (in physical or digital form), you may also be able to get the information from those statements.
Thank you!
