What is your favorite way to spend the 4th of July?

For me, fireworks have always been the highlight of the 4th of July. Since I've mostly lived in areas where the majority of fireworks are illegal, I enjoy sparklers and fireworks that stay lower to the ground. What's your favorite way to spend the 4th of July?

this is the view from my bedroom (resort) right now, we'll see fireworks here on the 4th.

Head downtown for the parade, grill hamburgers and hotdogs to go along with my wife's best-in-class potato salad and baked beans while the g-kids swim then after sunset go out front and watch the neighbors light of fireworks and listen to the distant sirens as the FD and PD run around town putting out fires. 😮

My favorite way to spend the 4th is BBQing with family and friends! We did things a lot simpler this year, though, and went out to eat. No cooking, no clean up, very relaxing. 😌
