Cannot connect to Ally Bank.

Cannot connect to Ally Bank as well as still not connecting to Pennymac.

Being a paid service, I would expect a much higher level of service with timely resolutions versus some of the free options that are available in which I have tested and can set up and connect to both Ally & Pennymac without issue.

    Hello @pwhitt,

Thanks for reaching out! I cannot see that you are receiving an error for AllyBank or PennyMac on our side when I check. Are you able to provide a screenshot showing the issue when trying to connect in Quicken Simplifi?

    Thanks,

    Coach Jon

Can't get passed the Account Add process but can log directly into their Wesite.

Can't get passed the set up as well.

PennyMac worked fine for months until the url change.

    Hello @pwhitt,

We do currently have a known issue with PennyMac Home Loan Solution you can follow here for updates:

As for Ally Bank, I noticed that you are using the Ally Auto Financing instance. Have you tried using the AllyBank instance in Quicken Simplifi to see if that works?

    Thanks,

    Coach Jon

    @pwhitt,

For Ally Auto Financing, I see the error you are receiving is FDP-103. This usually means invalid credentials are being entered. To verify if this is the case, please try the below steps:

    • Verify the bank selected is the correct instance.
      • Your bank may have several different instances that can be seen in the Add Account bank list, so be sure to ensure that you're using the correct one. If you're unsure, please reach out to the support team.
    • Verify that you're login information is correct.
      • Type your password/PIN into a text application to ensure you don’t have any typographical errors. Then, copy and paste your login information into Quicken Simplifi to ensure accuracy.
    • Verify your login at the bank’s website – Try to sign in to your bank’s website using the same login credentials to ensure you've not locked yourself out of the account and that the credentials are still valid.
    • Check for an app-specific password – Some banks require users to use a specific app password when connecting to a third party. Check with your bank to see if you need to use an app-specific password.
    • Update your credentials – Try temporarily updating your password at your bank's website and then try again to connect to Quicken Simplifi. We recommend NOT using the following special characters: & < > / \.

    Thanks,

    I have tried several times.

I use a password manager so I copy and paste and with the password manager it works fine directly online.

    Hello @pwhitt,

Just to confirm, you have tried the prior steps I listed above? We will want to make sure all steps are followed in order to determine what is specifically happening in your situation.

    Thanks,

    Coach Jon
