Linking Financial Institutions

Three financial institution linking and importing issues!!

  1. I am unable to link to CreditOne NV Bank to import my CC transactions - always receive an error!
  2. I am also unable to link and import my Kohls CC transactions
  3. I have two accounts at Capital One, when I link to one account, it unlinks from the other account. Now I can't even link to either account at CapOne!

This is extremely disconcerting, I am a professional bookkeeper and just started using Quicken Simplifi for my personal finances, I cannot use this for my clients if this issue continues. Please advise to when this will be resolved.

First thing I would suggest is to open your web browser in InPrivate or Incognito mode and then try the connection process. This has resolved the few connection issues I have experienced.

I have four accounts at Capital One with no connection problems. I'd suggest logging into your Cap One account and deleting the Quicken connection from there so you can start with a completely fresh connection from QS.

Thank you! I will give that a shot. I have been using Quickbooks since 1998, so I am extremely well-versed with that software ~ I know Quicken is much "simpler" but this was driving me crazy 😣

@LJFiala, thanks for reaching out to the Community!

Unfortunately, CreditOne is not supported in Quicken Simplifi; this bank is listed in our Alert here:

We also have an ongoing Alert for Kohl's Credit Card with a recommendation to contact the bank directly to help make them aware of the issue and the impact:

As for Capital One, I also have 2 credit cards with them and don't have any problems linking both of them in Quicken Simplifi. I'd suggest using the bank option listed as "Capital One Card Services". To establish a new connection with the bank and get both accounts linked, I'd suggest following these steps:

    1. Make all of your Capital One accounts manual by following the steps here.
    2. Once you see the account(s) listed in the Manual Accounts section under Settings > Accounts, go back through the Add Account flow to reconnect to the bank.
    3. When presented with the OAuth screen to authorize your accounts, make sure that all of your accounts are listed and checked.
    4. Carefully link the account(s) found to your existing Quicken Simplifi account(s) by following the steps here.

Let us know how it goes!
