Refresh online bank accounts every hour instead of every 4-6 hours (edited)
I realize the current 4-6 hour gap on bank refreshes is there, possibly because there are costs associated with connector usage or to prevent getting locked out of banks for accessing them too frequently (?).
However, I'm now at a point where I'm trying to limit manual entries, so I would like to have more frequent updates.
Given the price increases (not that I'm in a position to complain about that), can Quicken Inc. afford now to use the connections more frequently and maybe allow hourly bank connections rather than the (seemingly arbitrary) 4-6 hours?

p.s. I tried searching for an existing idea and could not find it, but it may exist, and I don't know the keywords.

I like this idea!
I've been wondering, what does the Sync button actually do? I've read that the app will only sync with each bank every 4-6 hours, and also that it does so automatically when the app is opened (is that the case)? If those are both true then what's the point in the Sync button?

@EL1234 I find if you left the app open for a while (i.e. put laptop to sleep but the browser open and came back to it) it would refresh if it's been more than 4-6 hours. Also, there have been times i made changes on the mobile app that would only refresh on the web after pressing that button. On the phone, there's a refresh button on the apple accounts page which i believe will refresh as often as you press it.

Got it! Interesting.

Perhaps we could just force a refresh on the account or accounts that we need? This would cut down on unnecessary connections and save costs too.

That would be a good feature too. Honestly we'd need this less if not for the ongoing balance issue that only self-corrects after 4-6 hours.

Agreed, then it would auto-correct after about an hour with this, this may have influenced this idea post,
