[Removed]. It seems every app is missing one thing you need. I like Rules. Empower doesn't have them. I like Zillow. Simplifi doesn't have that in the cheap version. [Removed] Mint was great. Why did it shut down?

Agree with others. Please minimize Projected Cash Flow and Bills & Payments within the account or move to its own section. I would think there's tons of data showing how many people click to minimize them. It's very disruptive to an otherwise excellent user experience.

In the accounts section it defaults to expanding all of my accounts. It would be nice to be able to adjust the default to have all of my accounts minimized. Seeing the overall balances of banking, investments, Assets, and Liabilities is all I need a majority of the time.

Perhaps this is one of those "a picture is worth a thousand words" moments. Being able to select and have QS remember my selection would allow me to open QS…

    …to this…

    …compared to this.

Or any combination of what is seen in the Accounts list as desired by the individual user.

Absolutely this is a huge thing that would make it that much more pleasant. Remembering view settings is a weakness for sure. This app needs a few cleanup items and then it is on the verge of exploding!

What I don't get is that people have been suggesting this since 2022!! Is it really that difficult to implement??

  • 100% agree with the posts here. Why is this still not done in 2024?

DO NOT minimize cash flow, at least not for me. I make aggressive use of it.

In the screenshot above, the user does not make use of Recurring transactions, so of course, the cash flow appears useless.

I'll have to agree with this. Surprised a feature this simple hasn't been implemented since 2022. I'm new to Simplifi, but if this is how the devs handle requests, doesn't exactly inspire confidence in the product from my end. I get it, this is a small feature, but also its a small feature, why is it taking so long to have this corrected?

This now has my vote, I think the app having memory is a good thing.

Looks like I'm 3 years late to this party, but this is a great idea!

I agree. Please make Projected Cash Flow panel either closed by default or remember last user setting.

Some people frequently use the Projected Cash Flow and some don't. Both could be accommodated by having Simplifi remember and restore the previous state (expanded or collapsed). Everyone would be happy.

Whatever it takes to get the projected cash flow stuff off the top of the screen, or at least minimized. The projected cash flow feature is of no value to me.

For me, projected cash flow is the ONLY reason i use this app. So I don't want it removed. Make it minimizable (and sticky) for those who don't want it, if necessary.

I don't like paying for something that is of no use to me. Make it a premium feature, if necessary.

It would be best if the Projected Cash Flow graph and the Reminder carousel could be expanded and collapsed separately. (And, of course, that the expanded/collapsed states be remembered.)

I don't often use the Projected Cash Flow, but I look at the Reminders all the time. Others probably do it the other way around. I don't want to have to choose between "both" or "none."

I think this idea is similar to and should be consolidated with the suggestions that QS remember the collapsed state of the Projected Cash Flow panel and the column customizations in Spending Plan.

It's really the same idea — we customize the display because we want to see it a certain way and we shouldn't have to do it every time we open a different part of the program.

When managing accounts, categories, and other sections within Simplifi, it is beneficial to present the information either with all sections collapsed (Proposed Collapsing) or expanded (Current All Expanded). This functionality can be applied by section within Simplifi or as a general setting through an appropriate selection. The provided images illustrate the current setup and the requested features.

Use Case: Users can choose from settings whether they prefer all sections expanded (default) or collapsed (selection). This ensures a more streamlined visual display while navigating through different areas, offering a direct path to the desired section. This approach prevents users from needing to scroll extensively to locate specific categories, facilitating a more efficient workflow. For instance, in the Dashboard areas, this could enhance clarity for users regarding the balance in each section, such as Cash & Checking, Credit, Savings, Brokerage, etc. Consequently, users can easily view account groupings and details within each group. Additionally, when using the app to perform specific tasks, this feature simplifies access to relevant task areas.
