Downloaded Transactions Automatically Set with a Flag
When transactions currently are downloaded, they come into Simplifi without a flag. Since flags a very useful, I recommend that a user has the ability in Settings to set that downloaded transactions can be set to a specific flag. This way, the user would be able to filter for this flag and review, verify, and validate that the transaction as downloaded is correct. When the user has determined that the transaction is right, then the user and change the color flag.

Thank you for coming to the Community to share your feedback! The functionality you're asking for doesn't currently exist in Quicken Simplifi. We do have Rules, which can be used to automatically modify downloaded transactions (for more details, click here), but there isn't currently an option for those Rules to automatically apply a flag.

@Coach Kristina, I will give the rules a try and see if that accomplishes what I am trying to achieve with having the incoming transactions set to a specific flag.

@Coach Kristina, how would I create a rule for went any transaction that does not have a flag get the flag set tp purple? I am with the presumption the rule look from current day and backwards.

As @Coach Kristina mentioned, I would suggest creating an idea post requesting this change. There is currently no way to do what you are requesting within Quicken Simplifi.

I use the Reviewed column to mark transactions that I have reviewed. It sounds like that might accomplish the same thing you are trying to do with flags.
