Unable to select subcategories on the iPad web browser version (edited)
Unable in two browsers. Works on the app, but not in the browser version. I used to be able to do this.

Hello @Membername,
Thank you for letting us know you're seeing this issue. To troubleshoot the issue, please start by logging out of your Quicken Simplifi in the web version, then logging back in.
You mentioned that you tried in two different browsers. Which browsers did you use? Did you try using those browsers in incognito mode (or equivalent)?
I look forward to your response!

What specifically do you mean by "Select"? Are you trying to assign a category, or are you trying to set up a filter, or are you trying to do something with reports/charts?
I have quicken business and personal, and basically, when assigning categories, any category that has subcategories has an arrow (">") on the right side of the name, and when you hover over it, the subcatories pop-out, then you move your cursor over to them and can select.

Same problem here. Started a few weeks ago. Affects both Safari and Chrome on IOS using an iPad. Works fine with the App. If you try to recategorize a transaction the arrows on the right of the menu which should allow you to select a sub-category do not work. It’s as if they are not there. It happens if you try to change the category on the main transactions screen, or if you open the individual transaction and try to recategorize from that window.
Before it became unusable I had found the arrows could only be selected by clicking slightly to the right, actually past the arrow… that bug occurred for a few weeks before they started not working completely.

Hello @MAK,
Thanks for reaching out and providing clarification. Is this issue only present when accessing the web application from an iPad? Have you tried from a computer/laptop? I am not able to reproduce this issue from my side, so I am wondering if this may be specific to tablets. Can you also provide a screenshot or screen recording showing the issue from your side? Feel free to DM me if you prefer.

The problem only occurs for me running from a browser interface on the iPad. It is not a problem when I use a windows-based browser on a PC. Happens on both Chrome and Safari on the iPad. Happens after I’ve completely cleared the cache and after I’ve updated to the latest iOS. As an example in the photo attached, the arrows next to Dining & Drinks, Education, Fees & Charges, Financial, Fitness, etc are not selectable and it’s like their link is not there. As I said in a previous comment, for a while before they quit working altogether, if I clicked to the right of the arrows just at the edge of the menu box then they would work…

Interesting, because I think it only works (now) when you hover on the web, and the only way you -might- be able to hover on an iPad is if you use something like the Apple Pencil (I'm not saying this will work).
Interestingly, even on the web, clicking the ">" icon will collapse the expansion but will not expand it back out, I think that's a bug and may be related.
Question: Have you tried using a touchpad or mouse. (such as bluetooth versions, or touchpad tied to case keyboard covers) on the ipad, to see if hovering works then?

Hello @MAK,
Thanks for clarifying. Generally, I would suggest using the Quicken Simplifi mobile application when trying to access Quicken Simplifi from a tablet like an iPad. Have you verified if using the mobile application from your iPad works correctly? As @RobWilk mentioned, the arrows to access subcategories usually require the ability to hover over the arrows within the web application, so I am not sure if iPads allow this behavior. Let us know!

the functionality used to work fine on the iPad. Has for years…
I don’t like the App and would much prefer to use the browser on my iPad like I have since moving to Simplifi…
