Ability to update Apple Wallets accounts from the Web App (edited)

It would be great if the Apple Card could automatically sync with Quicken instead of us having to go into the Quicken App on iPhone and manually hit the button to get it to sync.

Is there a technical reason why Quicken can't automatically sync Apple Card transactions the same as any other credit card or bank account?

The way Apple set up apple card, the only way to access account details is from an iOS device (i.e. iPhone) using their API to access account details. There is no web-based interface to get account details, so I don't think what you are asking for will happen. They want you locked into their platforms.

Of course, whether or not there is a way to leave the Qiucken Simplifi app running in the background on the iphone and constantly checking every 4-6 hours is another story, that i do not know.

Yes, considering Apple Card is mobile only, I can see how it makes sense that we would have to download the Quicken app on iOS for it to communicate with the Wallet app. But I don't see why Quicken can't have that automatically sync. Every morning I have to open the Quicken app on my phone, go the Apple Card account, and hit the Sync button. Why can't Quicken just automate that so I don't have to manually hit that button every day?

Not that it helps much, but I think you can open the app, and let it sync or just pull down with your finger from the top so you don't have to go to settings:accounts.

Unless you have new transactions, you cannot tell, because it doesn't tell you when it last synced (unlike the online accounts).

Yea, I'm just hoping there is a way for it to automatically sync without me needing to go into the Quicken app at all. If I just have to open the app and swipe down or hit a button, why can't Quicken just automate that inside the app?
