  • My subscription is up in December, and I will not be renewing unless this issue is resolved. My family charges at Target on a regular basis, so this is too frustrating to deal with any longer. I would be renewing if not for this issue. It's a shame…

  • Yesterday I decided to reconcile Target transactions from my credit card statement to Simplifi for all of 2025 and was pleasantly surprised. Other than some transactions from the March/April period when Target first made their system change, everything matched up between the systems through the date of my most recent Target statement (September).

    Is it annoying that Target transactions only show up in Simplifi once a month when the Target statement period ends? Sure. But I’m much happier now that I know there’s no data loss in Simplifi when it does download Target monthly.

    A fairly decent workaround that I've been trying out is marking the pending transactions as cleared whenever I see them. That seems to prevent them from disappearing. Any that I miss will return at the beginning of the next month. It's not very ideal since you need to remember to keep checking every day or so, but it's better than nothing.

    The issue with Target Red Card not downloading transactions is still ongoing. We are working with our service provider to resolve the problem; however, there is no ETA to provide at this time. In the meantime, please follow our Alert for updates, as any news will be posted there:

    I have reviewed other discussions in the boards and have tried the suggestions. The Target Card connected to Simplifi does not update any transaction data, even though it says on the page that it refreshed the data.

    Thanks for reaching out! To confirm the issue being reported here, your account is updating, but the actual transactions are not coming through, correct? If so, we have a known issue that we have an alert for regarding missing transactions with Target Red Card that you can follow here:

    @TiggerTrainer Detailed updates or ETAs will not be provided in this thread regarding the issue. If and when the issue is resolved, the alert will be updated which you can follow for notifications. Some users express their frustration in the thread and announce the ending of their subscriptions. They scoff at the workaround of adding transactions manually when they can do that in a spreadsheet for free. That's about the extent of the activity here for the last several months.

    @TiggerTrainer and @EL1234 , Since this issue was raised months ago, it was observed that Target Circle Card transactions appear briefly in Simplifi when they are pending, disappear, then reappear once the statement period has closed. Transactions are not seen from the current statement period. That means Simplifi is 1 to 33 days out of date depending where you are in the statement period.

    I continue to observe this issue today. My last Target Circle Card transaction in Simplifi was from my last statement (weeks ago) and I am missing recent transactions that have posted on the Target Circle Card website. Your accounts may be fixed, but I wonder if you are just on day 1 of being out of date (i.e. just starting your new statement period).

    I have not seen any updates from the coaches indicating this issue has been resolved.

    I will watch for the issue you described @SmartCents. The problem I had observed was that none of my transactions, pending or posted, were pulling through to Simplifi, regardless of transaction date or time in the statement period.

    What I am observing is that starting in late November the pending transactions started showing again, and now they are posting and we are still seeing more new pending. I may just be lucky in the timing.

    I will update in a week or two when I have been able to monitor this more. Thanks for your patience.

    FYI, my statement closed on 12/1 so it is possible that I am still experiencing the issue you are describing.
