Looking for a paid Simplifi Coach.

My wife and I are relatively new to Simplifi, having switched from Quicken on-line to Q-Simplifi about a year ago.

We are dedicated money trackers, and have nearly 40 years of Quicken files backed up somewhere, but we are lousy budget planners.

I just finished reading every word of a community thread started by @cubateve that talked about weekly cash flow tracking.

Everyone in that thread will always know more about Simplifi than either I or my wife will ever know.

I am an engineer of retirement age, and still working more than full-time. My wife is an artist and pays our bills. We could not be more different in our financial logic. We are looking for an expert coach who can get us started (or re-started) the right way on Simplifi, and maybe charge us a small retainer to keep my wife on track with questions she has.

I have no patience or capacity to learn Simplifi well enough to set this up properly for her and us to use.

(I've tried searching for someone on Indeed, Upwork, Craig's List, and yes even the Simplifi help line.)

@ken.acer You may want to try chat or phone support if you require a Quicken coach for personal help. The Coaches here are knowledgeable, but they primarily moderate the community and offer support when they can.

  • I would like the same, did you get any leads for a coach?

To clarify, Quicken Simplifi Support is free. If you need help setting up the program or a walkthrough on using features, please reach out to our Support Team, which includes posting here in the Community, so someone can assist you.

Our support article here goes over how to contact support and our current support hours: https://support.simplifi.quicken.com/en/articles/5077917-how-to-contact-support

And our FAQ here goes over how ot post to the Community:

    I hope this helps!

    Thanks Natalie,

The support team has always been very helpful with any specific task, question, or problem.

What I'm looking for is a coach, who knows Simplifi, and can "hold our hands" as we walk through a shift from our first 40 years of marriage where we created budgets once a year, and never really used them effectively.

We track every penny, but we dont live according to a budget.

So, bottom line, I don't need tech support. Your free service does that.

We need Coaching Support, from someone who knows how to use Simplifi.

Maybe that person does not exist in the world, but i doubt that is the case.

    Thanks again. Ken.

Thanks @RobWilk for your comments. We don't need a technical expert. "Coach" might be the wrong name for our needs.

We need a "Financial Therapist" who knows Simplifi.

I think they are called "Financial Advisors" but one who knows software such as Quicken Simplifi or similar to Simplifi.

I am not that person. I also cannot afford to pay that person, I use Simplifi because it's a cost-effective do-it-yourself solution.

Quicken has an article - https://www.quicken.com/blog/hiring-a-financial-advisor/

    @ken.acer, thank you for clarifying!

Soliciting for outside services is not allowed here in the Quicken Simplifi Community. If you are looking for anything beyond what our official support options offer, you won't find it here.

It looks like Rob shared a helpful blog post of ours that may offer some guidance. Good luck with your search!
