Search has gotten painfully slow
This seems to be a recent issue that started over the last few days. Searching has gotten painfully slow. It seems that with each letter I type, Simplifi queries the database again, instead of waiting until I stop typing. While this might not be so bad, what's happening now is that only a small fraction of the letters that I type are actually kept in the search box. So if I want to search for a word, I need to type one letter, wait until it shows, press the next letter, etc etc. It's quite annoying.
Is anyone else seeing this behavior? I think it started within the last week or so.

Yes. I have to type a letter, wait a bit, type another letter, wait a bit, etc. to get the entire search string in. Otherwise the latest letter I type replaces what was in the search box before.
Example: I type "dog" and the search box ends up with only "g" in it.

I'm glad to hear it's not just me!
And then I'll try again and just get the "d". Or "dg". So frustrating!

@EL1234, thanks for pointing this out!
If you're experiencing this with the new register specifically, which can be determined by your Early Access status (the new register is in Early Access only), the best place to post about any issues is in our official feedback thread. That way, our product team can see any issues while the register is in the testing stages:
If the issue is happening on the old register only, it will soon be replaced by the new register for all users! You can also switch to the new register now if it works better for you. 🙂

Good point! I'm on the new register. But I've been using it for a while and this seems to be a new issue. I'll repost over there.

@EL1234, possibly something new that got introduced. I'll make sure Quicken Kirby sees your comment in the feedback thread.
Thanks!
