Barclays: This Bank is not available right now

Been getting a Simplifi "This Bank is not available right now" for weeks trying to connect my Barclays accounts. Is somebody looking into this?

    When checking your connection attempts from our end, I'm seeing an FDP-103 error with Barclays Online Banking - US as of today, and a successful connection with Barclaycard as of 4/4. Which Barclays connection are you referring to? And where are you seeing the "This Bank is not available right now" message?

    Additionally, when searching in Quicken Simplifi, I'm not finding an active bank option for "Barclays Online Banking - US", which may be part of the problem. Have you had your Barclays account connected in Quicken Simplifi prior, or is this your first time attempting to do so? If the former, which bank option was the account connected to? And when did the connection stop working? Were any other errors received or anything along those lines? If this is your first time connecting, what types of accounts are you trying to add, e.g., checking, savings, credit card, etc.?

    I have 2 Barclays accounts: a Barclaycard and an online savings. One login should get me to both accounts. They were both working in Simplifi up until about a month ago.

    If I click on my Barclays Savings acct, I get a message saying I need to re-authenticate. When I click the button to enter my credentials, I see the "bank not available" message.

    @dbert721, thanks for the additional information!

    Which bank option are the accounts connected to, where you get a message stating you need to re-authenticate? You should be able to determine this under Settings > Accounts by looking at the institution name —

    If it's "Barclays Online Banking - US", I'm not currently seeing this bank option listed in Quicken Simplifi when searching for Barclays, which is the likely cause of the "bank not available" message. So we may need to try connecting your accounts to a different bank option. With that, what login URL do you use to sign in to the bank's website directly?

    "Barclays Savings" is the account shown in the settings that needs the credentials. "Barclaycard" account looks OK. This is the URL used for logging into BOTH my credit card and saving accounts: https://cards.barclaycardus.com/. . There are not separate logins for each account. Once logged in there, I have the option to pick one of the accounts to work with. I would just like to emphasize that both accounts were previously working in Simplifi.

    I'm also not seeing a bank option listed as "Barclays Savings" in Quicken Simplifi, though I suppose it's possible you've either given the institution a custom name in Settings > Accounts, or it is a bank option that's not currently available, like the "Barclays Online Banking - US" seems to be.

    At any rate, since the "Barclaycard" bank option is working for one of your accounts, and you stated that you access both accounts via the same website, I would recommend using the "Barclaycard" option for both accounts. You may do so by following these steps:

    1. Make both of your Barclays accounts manual by following the steps here.
    2. Once you see the accounts listed in the Manual Accounts section under Settings > Accounts, go back through the Add Account flow to reconnect to the bank and choose the "Barclaycard" option.
    3. Carefully link the accounts found to your existing Quicken Simplifi accounts by following the steps here

    I tested the URL for the "Barclaycard" bank option in Quicken Simplifi and the one you sent above, and they appear to be the same, so this should work for you. Let us know!
