Hello peoples.
Newbie here, and I don't use forums often, but when I do ….. LoL
When I click the "+New Post" button, it shows a choice.
Discussion or Question
In my tiny little brain that has tons of useless information (according to wifey). What is the difference here?
Questions lead to discussions.
Discussions often have questions hidden within the statement.

I think that should have introduced me…..

What do you call a cow with a twitch? Beek Jerky

Oh, wait, there's more…. If this were a discussion, would the post button below read "Submit Discussion" ?

I'm Tex .... Friendly, try not to bite, will answer any question, ...... um

You are right. Not a big difference. Questions can be answered when you are looking for help. Discussions garner comments.
