Easier way to track shared expenses (edited)

It would be great if, for partners who share expenses, there was an easier way to keep track. For example, my partner often borrows small amounts of money (or I'll pick up something at the convenience store regularly), and then pays me a lump sum at the end of the week for what I've loaned. The refund tracker is helpful, but it doesn't allow for multiple transactions to be repaid in one lump sum.

You could try setting up a "Partner Loan" account and making the expense transactions that are actually "borrowed" into transfers to that account (instead of expenses).

If you do that, then the balance of the Partner Loan account represents the amount that you are owed.

Then, when your partner pays you back, make that transaction a transfer from the Partner Loan account. That will reduce the amount owed.
