Fix past balance on loan account?
Is there a way to fix the historical balance on a loan account if there is an incorrect value? I have one loan account that shows zero balance on Feb 29, 2024 (must be some kind of leap day error). If it was a banking account with the issue, I would know how to fix it with the import balance history function. But is there a way to do this with a loan account? The button to import (cloud/arrow thingy) doesn't appear for loan accounts in the transactions view.

Hello @trewbux,
Thanks for reaching out! Currently, account balance history cannot be imported through the Quicken Simplifi mobile application. Are you using that or the web application? In the web application, the symbol should not be greyed out.
Are you following these steps specifically?
If you are, I would see if selecting the Import icon from another account, then choosing your loan account from the account dropdown menu, works here. Let us know!

Hello @trewbux,
Thank you for reaching out! Is this a manual account, or is it connected to a financial institution? If it is a manual account, you should be able to find and correct the transaction that caused the incorrect balance on that day.
I look forward to your response!

@Coach Kristina It is a loan account connected to a financial institution (not manual). I don’t know how the balance history ended up with the error on one day, just looking for a method to correct it. Thanks!

Ah, that did the trick. I had to start on the page of another account and then switch to the loan account once I was in the upload screen. I didn’t realize I could do that.
