Thanks for this. I started to recreate some of them yesterday but stopped due to the duplicate concern. Will use this.

@DryHeat I think you are probably smart do do so. If they cannot fix this, then it is all the more reason we need a Restore/Backup function.
@EL1234 I know which ones are missing because I keep a separate Quicken Classic subscription. I keep thinking I will drop it, but it seems more and more unlikely that I ever will.
I am not recommending that others do what I am doing, but if you only have a few to fix and you want to, I thought I would suggest flagging the ones you add so you can quickly find them later.

Same. Not a split issue. Amex for me, but don't feel like checking all accounts so could be more.

Got it! Though the fact that you need to keep your own backup proves the point that we need a better system for backups. Hopefully Simplifi has something on their end that they can use to restore missing transactions.
What about manual transactions? I don't even know how I'd figure them all out…

Agree totally on Restore/Backup. It is the next MUST HAVE feature.
So far everything has tested out ok on my manual accounts including Kelly Blue Book and Zillow.
It has only happened to my Amazon Visa (Chase), Amex and local First US Checking account. So I hope this is limited to those for me and won't affect me further.
As to what caused it is a mystery because I see no reason ever for Simplifi or the Bank Downloads to fiddle with cleared transactions.

Me too. I just noticed a purchase transaction from my credit card on April 6 has now vanished. I noticed this because my monthly Restaurant spending suddenly went down. This item had been there all month until today and its still visible in the card web site.
I don't know if anything else went missing other than checking every single transaction manually

I’m trying to figure out whether anyone else has experienced this with a Chase credit card connection.
I have 31 transactions missing from my Chase Southwest credit card for April 1–24, 2026. What worries me is that these transactions did not simply fail to sync in the first place — I’m confident at least some of them were already in Simplifi before and I had categorized them.
Here’s what I’ve already ruled out:
- I did not delete them
- They do not appear anywhere else in Simplifi when searching by amount/date
- My Chase connection appears healthy
- The account synced recently
- New transactions are still coming in normally
- This does not appear to be a filter/display issue
So my question is: has anyone seen previously synced Chase transactions disappear later, possibly after a re-authentication or background connection change?
I’m also concerned this may not be limited to April. If transactions can quietly drop out after they’ve already synced, I’m not sure how I’d know how far back to audit.
I’ve contacted support, but I’d really like to know whether other users have seen the same thing and whether there was any resolution.

Yup, dealing with the same - support confirmed the issue. The frustration of this is unbelievable and also makes me distrustful of my data in the future. I pay for Simplifi as a transaction aggregator, and if it doesn't do that reliably and without me reconciling it against my bank portals, I'm out.

likewise several transactions disappeared overnight. Completely thrown off historical tracking and defeats the whole point of the app.

I'm having the same issue. Several transactions (both charges and credits) on my Costco Citi VISA disappeared, or maybe never synced? I don't check daily so it's impossible for me to remember which ones I had already categorized and which ones never existed.

This is the kind of issue that completely shakes my confidence in Quicken. Even if the problem gets corrected, how can we ever be sure that there are not still missing transactions or other errors that we're not aware of?
I separately posted about other errors occurring this morning (including a number of transactions that I previously categorized and marked as reviewed over the past month suddentl becoming "Uncategorized"); I'm not sure if these problems are related.

I am having the same issue from Comerica for checking. I did the suggest reconnect/refresh and then it wiped out all my spending plans. UGH. Seems to be transactions from beginning April for me. I check daily AND keep a spendsheet for checks and balances. I am now afraid that I will have to redo my spend plans from January - April. I will not touch May now cause I feel it would be duplicate efforts if not fixed.

EXACTLY. The Spend Plan was the driving force for usage and now it is all screwed up. I did the suggested reconnect/refresh thinking it was a connection and it wiped them ALL out.

Does anyone know when this started? I noticed last night that my projected cash flow looked a little different than it had before, but figured I'd wait for another refresh since sometimes that fixes things. But now I wonder if this is related… though the projection should be current balance plus/minus upcoming reminders and transactions. Has anyone seen missing upcoming reminders/transactions?

Same here! My Bank of America and Chase accounts (both cards and banking) are missing data from early April and late last week. I thought I’d miraculously saved a lot this month before I noticed the missing transactions. 😂

My Spending Plans for March and April were affected because Simplifi thinks we underspent; once you put in those missing transactions, they should be right again. I know that is cold comfort.
Reconnecting doesn't work since once they've downloaded the transactions, they won't download again. I tried taking an account manual and then creating a new account and that redownloaded them. But it wouldn't let me move the missing transactions to the old account so ended up just deleting the newly created one and re-connecting the old one.
But when you need to, you can find your missing transactions on the bank's websites at least.

LOL. I never look at that but I would assume it happened at the same time when the transactions disappeared. I only look ahead on Cash Flow but not backwards. I don't think you can look backwards, can you?
Anyhow, my balances are right because these are connected accounts and my cashflow looks correct as well.

Right, that's what I was referring to. The upcoming cash flow looked different than the projection from earlier yesterday, and I was wondering if that's related to this also.

That was my reddit post. It was a copy of an interaction I had with support thru chat. The second part of the reddit post was this agent saying this would be posted to the community. That was almost 2 hours ago at this point.

Thanks Steve. But will I have to setup all my spend plans again. It wiped the income, bills, planned spend, etc and I usually set them up monthly. Now the only thing showing is Planned Spend which is incorrect. Everything else is 0. Its like I have to go back and fix all the transactions that download with the right information to show and then get to what missing. ;(

Having the same issue here. It is frustrating beyond words. I have really been honing in my spending plan the last few months too. Makes me nervous that I'm missing transactions in the past. Ironically, I decided to try a free trial of another budgeting app for fun last Saturday.
