John Hancock Retirement Plan Services FDP-520 (edited)
I have not been able to update my 401k with John Hancock since January of 2025. I have tried multiple times to reconnect, and always get an error. The error isn't the same every time. Currently it says:
We are unable to connect to John Hancock Retirement Plan Services at this time.
Care Code: FDP-520
Can you please advise when John Hancock will be available to connect? Also, the address shown when selecting John Hancock (retirement.johnhancock.com) is not correct. The address should be myplan.johnhancock.com.

When checking your connection attempts from our end, I'm able to confirm the FDP-520 error with John Hancock Retirement Plan Services. I don't see any known issues for this bank, nor am I finding any open tickets, and I am unable to reproduce the FDP-520 error with dummy credentials, so it may be specific to your account.
With that, to clarify, have you ever had this account connected in Quicken Simplifi, or have you been trying to connect it since January of last year? If you have never been able to connect to this bank, let's have you test to ensure you are using the correct bank option. To do so, click on the URL displayed for the bank in Quicken Simplifi. A new tab will open to the bank's website; make sure you can sign in and access your account(s) there.
