Thanks for reaching out! Quicken Simplifi offers a different approach to budgeting. Quicken Simplifi creates a Spending Plan automatically based on the Recurring Income, Bills, and Subscriptions you've set up, leaving the money that's left over as available to budget or save for other items, or to spend as desired.

Thanks for reporting this issue. I was unable to reproduce this issue from our side, unfortunately. I do know that sometimes the rule change can take some time for existing transactions, however.
How recently did you create the rule? Have you checked to see if signing out and back in or trying from another web browser works? Let us know!

Hello everyone!
Here are the issues and features we were able to tackle with the 4.71.0 Web Release, released August 13th:
- FIXED: The text color for tax rates and investment returns is too dark in the Retirement Planner while in Dark Mode.
- FIXED: The background color of investment ticker chips on the Investment Holdings Dashboard card is incorrect.
- FIXED: Various errors and crashes.
- FIXED: QBP: Misaligned “Got It” button in the 'Rearrange Account Groups' alert on MacOS.
- UPDATED: The Investment News Feed logo for items with no picture to a placeholder image instead of the Quicken logo.
- UPDATED: Minor enhancements have been made to the recent redesign of the Spending Plan.
- UPDATED: Other minor visual/UI enhancements across the app.
- UPDATED: QBP: Allow users to delete transactions in the Client Invoices account.
- ADDED: The 'per day' amount to the Spending Plan Dashboard card.

[ONGOING] 8/14/25: Renewal Banner showing for users purchasing through Google Play Store
We are currently seeing an issue in Quicken Simplifi where users are seeing a banner in their program that says, "Oops! Your payment wasn't processed. Update your account to continue using Simplifi.", even though the users have an active subscription. This is only being experienced by users who have purchased Quicken Simplifi through the Google Play Store at this point. This is a known issue that we are working to resolve as quickly as possible. We currently have no ETA to provide on when a resolution can be expected, but will post updates as soon as we do.

I have two recommendations:
Add multiple expense selection to male update for mobile app version similar to what is already available on the desktop version.
Simplifi does not remember my categorization of the same expense from the same vendor.

Title: Show Total Amount for Transactions in Search/Filter Results
Description:
Currently, when I search or filter transactions in Simplifi, the system shows the number of transactions but does not display the total dollar amount of those transactions. This is a major limitation, as one of the most common use cases is to quickly answer questions like:
- "How much did I spend at Merchant X last month?"
- "What's the total income from this Category during the year?"
- "What are the combined amounts of these filtered expenses?"
Right now, the only way to get totals is to:
- Build a report (much slower than search), or
- Export the results and total them manually in Excel/Sheets.
Requested Feature:
Please add a total sum line at the top (or bottom) of the Transactions list that dynamically updates whenever a search, filter, or query is applied. Ideally this would include:
- Total Amount ($) of filtered transactions
- Transaction Count (already available, keep it)
- (Optional) Average Amount for quick insights
Why This Matters:
This is basic functionality that Mint and other budgeting apps provided, and it makes Simplifi much more powerful for day-to-day tracking. Many users, myself included, often need quick totals without generating a full report. Adding this would eliminate a major frustration and make Simplifi much more efficient.

I have resisted upvoting this, but I think it is probably inevitable that Simplifi will have to do it. Of course, if you use it in Canada and only have Canadian Accounts, it doesn't matter. It only matters if you mix them with "foreign" accounts.

I've tried over and over to connect via Plaid at various times and different days of the week. This continues to NOT WORK 100% of the time.

I find simplifi the easiest to use and most full featured product, but the lack of multi-currency support has me looking at other options. This is a significant issue, and needs to be solved or you will continue to lose users
If you read any investment advice column in the US today, even those for unsophisticated investors, they recommend investing a percentage in assets outside of the US market. Multi-currency is the norm, not the exception for US residents with investments today.
