See spending per month in a single category (bar chart)

I was surprised I couldn't do this, but I expected to be able to see spending by month in a certain category, represented in a bar chart.

For example, if I want to see how much money I've spent on groceries in each of the past 6 months, I can't do that. I can view the TOTAL amount I've spent in groceries over the past 6 months, but I can't see how much I've spent each month.

Every dollar has a wonder bar chart where I can select a category, and it tells me how much I've spent each month. It even tells me the average amount I've spent each month.
