Use categories to adjust expense/budget categories by the "refund" cash inflow amount.
when receiving a refund for work, reimbursements, or healthcare costs, the amount shows up as personal income I would like to be able to change the category from personal income to the category that it would be appropriate at two for example in this case $50 reimbursement shows up as personal income instead I would like to simply change the category for that plus $50 to the doctor visit category that way it would reduce doctor visit expenses by $50 and so forth.

From what you stated, Simplifi already allows users to change a category to whatever is more appropriate. I got a $1,500 reimbursement for health expenses and I re-categorized the income as Health: Doctor with a positive amount +1,500. The effect was that my health expenses were reduced by $1,500.
Is what I describe above what you are requesting or is there more? Thoughts?
