American Express Credit Cards not Updating on Finicity platform

Seems that this issue has resurrected itself. Can't connect to Amex credit cards on Finicity. Tried reconnecting, taking accounts manual and reconnecting, etc. Tried removing third party access from Amex website and then adding it back. Issue has been persisting for a few days now.

    Hello @5thompson,

Thanks for reaching out! From our side, I can see that you are receiving a 185 error when attempting to connect. You may receive this error if multi-factor authentication is required to add your account or if the multi-factor code entered was invalid. Are you being asked for an MFA code when trying to connect? What method are you using (SMS, call, etc.) if you are being asked for MFA? Have you tried changing how you receive your MFA code?

    Thanks,

    Coach Jon

I took the accounts manual and then went through the re-authentication process. I was asked for an MFA code and the code was delivered by SMS automatically (I did not see any option to change the delivery method), which is how it has always been delivered. I also see that on the AMEX site, it states that "No authorized Third Parties Connected" nor did it seem like Simplifi actually connected with Amex during the reauthentication process. If a connection had been established, I believe that Amex would have asked me for permission to add a Third Party aggregator.

    Hello @5thompson,

Thanks for the reply. Sometimes, security extensions and things of that nature enabled in your primary browser can prevent the authorization process from completing. Have you tried connecting in another browser/incognito mode to see if that works?

    Thanks,

    Coach Jon
