Manual Account Balance not showing
I added a manual accounts for my mortgage and checking account and entered an opening balance for both but the balance [in the accounts list] for both accounts read 0. When I click on the accounts I can see the opening balances
My financial institution is not supported by Simplify so I was going to just manually update the balances monthly. Any suggestions?

@J3tSk!3 I find this happens from time to time with Manual accounts but they often resolve in 24 hrs. I have one this morning that is $10 off. Nothing I tried worked so I added an account adjustment but later, it will be right, and I'll have to delete the adjustment.
It sounds like you haven't added an transactions yet to your manual accounts. If that is so, you can delete the opening transactions and start over to see if that fixes it. You can try signing in and out of your account though I find this rarely works for me. If that doesn't work you can delete the accounts and start over.
Or just wait to see what happens.

Thanks Steve. My balances still remain at zero. Maybe I should zero the opening balance and add the account balance as a transaction?

@J3tSk!3 Yes, definitely delete the opening balance and try something else. I find there are different ways to skin a cat. Good luck!

Have you tried allowing some time after adding the account and the opening balance transaction to see if the balance becomes correct?

In my case, I did not add a transaction. I just planned to use the opening balance as the account balance. It;s been over 3 days and the balance still shows zero

To clarify, when you enter an opening balance when adding a manual account, Quicken Simplifi accomplishes this by adding an opening balance transaction. With that, can you try deleting the opening balance transaction, manually entering it again, and then allowing 24 hours, please?
