Cant connect to citi - "Records Don't Match" Error

Trying to reconnect my citi card after the last weeks issues.

I have:

  • turned my citi card to manual
  • removed quicken from the CITI authorizations
  • Tried to connect to multiple citibank options when "adding and institution"
  • Tried on phone app
  • Tried on chrome
  • tried on Edge
  • Reset my username and password in my citibank account

All give me a similar issue to below:

When i click "Sign on to Citi Online", I can log into my account as normal, but that doesn't link it to simpifi. The following error appears if I click "cancel":

What's my next step to get this fixed? I have searched this forum and not seen any other actions to take at this time.

Cheers,

E

    @BigMan77, thanks for posting!

I'd suggest following these steps to gain a new token and establish a completely fresh connection with the bank:

    1. Navigate to the bank's website, sign in, and then remove Quicken's access from the bank's third-party linked apps.
    2. Navigate back to Quicken Simplifi and make all of your Citibank accounts manual by following the steps here.
    3. Once you see the account(s) listed in the Manual Accounts section under Settings > Accounts, go back through the Add Account flow to reconnect to the bank and reauthorize your accounts.
    4. Carefully link the account(s) found to your existing Quicken Simplifi account(s) by following the steps here.

Let us know how this works for you!
