I have this same error, I've had it for the past 11 months since I've been using simplifi. Every now and then I try to add the education plan and it comes back with FDP-102 after trying the 2 factor authentication.

@dont, thanks for reaching out to the Community!

When viewing your connection attempts from our end, I see that you first receive an FDP-185 error, which indicates an issue with MFA. Since you mentioned MFA as well, I wanted to gather additional data:

    • Is Quicken Simplifi asking you to complete MFA when connecting to The Education Plan?
    • Are you receiving the code?
    • What method are you using (SMS, call, etc.)?
    • Have you tried changing how you receive your MFA code?

Please let us know so we can best assist!

It did ask for MFA when I first tried adding the account again this morning. I received a code. I received it by SMS. No I have not tried changing how I receive an MFA code. After I gave it the MFA code is when I got FDP-102.

I have tried the account and password on The Education Plan website, and they are both working.

    Now I am seeing:

We are unable to update The Education Plan at this time. Please try again later. If you continue to experience issues, please contact Simplifii support.

    Care Code: QCS-0429-2

You may see several failed logins to the education plan within the last 15 minutes after the initial try a few hours ago. Those are because I put in my email address instead of the username. I was seeing an FDP-103 error in those cases.

I should mention that I am no longer getting prompted for MFA., it just immediately returns the Care Code: QCS-0429-2 error after entering the username and password.

I tried just now to add the account again. I was prompted for MFA. I put in the MFA code and got the following:

@dont, thank you for your patience as this issue was being worked on!

We've heard back on the escalation, and our service provider stated that the issue should be resolved. Can you give it another try and let us know how it goes, please?

    No, still getting FDP-102.

I tried logging out of simplifi completely, going to Settings → Accounts → Reset connection. Still got FDP-102.

@dont, can you give this another try, please? If the issue persists, we will next need to look at requesting a debugging session with you.

    Thanks!
