Cash Flow not working

This is not the first time over the past several days…

Web version/Chrome

Cash Flow has failed. All of my transactions are still listed, with the correct amounts (income, bills, subscriptions, etc) however the graph value simply never moves. It's just a straight line from today's date going across the entire graph, no matter how far out into the future I go.

I usually use Edge to access the web version of QS. But just opened Chrome and logged into QS to check out what you are seeing. I am seeing the Cash Flow graph reflecting accurately all my recurring bills, subscriptions, income and visible transfers.

    Hello @Danpam1024 ,

Thanks for reaching out! Sorry to hear about your recent trouble with Projected Cash Flow in Quicken Simplifi. This may be a browser-based issue. I would suggest verifying if the Projected Cash Flow graph shows correctly in another browser/incognito mode. To further clarify, can you see your recurring reminders below the graph?

Let us know how that goes,

  • Thank you for replying.

I determined that it was caused by a significant deposit I received that I subsequently used to pay debt, and transfer into other accounts. In other words, in one day, the deposit caused the graph to increase temporarily +35x it's average balance, then after I moved the monies, it immediately went back to it's normal range. This distorted the graph by showing a huge spike on the y axis. That "flattened" the entire remaining graph's data points.

For whatever reason, it corrected itself the next day when the single day spike was no longer entirely represented and the graph's range centered itself on the average data sets.

It should be noted that the significant deposit occurred a week prior and orignially did not cause this problem. It appears to only been a very frustration issue for a single day.
