Simplifi recently quit connecting to www.virginia529.com.

I tried reseting the account again, but it is no longer there.

@Shep, thanks for posting to the Community regarding this issue!

When viewing your connection attempts from our end, I'm seeing a couple of different errors with Virginia529 College Savings Plan and Virginia529 - Third Party. It doesn't look like Virginia529 College Savings Plan is currently listed as an available bank in Quicken Simplifi — is this the bank option that you were originally connected to? If so, they may no longer support Quicken Simplifi.

For the bank option listed as "Virginia529 - Third Party", are you able to click on the URL displayed for the bank from within Quicken Simplifi and sign into the new page that opens to the bank's website? This will give us a clearer idea of whether this option may work for you.

Please let us know so we can best assist!

I have the same issue. It used to work but recently have not been updating the account. Tried to remove and re-add the account and now I cannot re-add it even though it goes through the 2FA screens.

    Care: FDP-103 error

    Hello @thalaivar,

Thank you for joining the discussion. When I check on our end, I can see the FDP-103 error, but it looks like you were able to successfully connect a few minutes later. Is that correct, or are you still having trouble connecting? If you are still having trouble, are you seeing a different error message/code?

I look forward to your response!

  • Hi to all.

I was having the same issue and had tried the steps outline above without success. I'm not sure if the resolution is documented elsewhere, but here is what fixed it for me.

In the VA529 account, under "Manage My Accounts", there is an option to "Link Personal Finance Software". My VA529 account is the only one I recall having to do this for. Upon clicking that option, I found that the password Quicken had originally created for Simplifi to use had been set to expire. I clicked the button to manage that Third Party Access Account and set the end date year to 2099. I then used the password preset by Quicken to re-enter my credentials in Simplifi and it worked on the first attempt.

Happy to clarify any of the above if it would be helpful to do so.
