After this most recent update, all my transaction rules have been duplicated. Also, they are no longer sorted. Making them pretty unmanageable due to how many rules I have (532).

Your post made me finally go look at mine fearing the worst. 😁. I had 77 rules, I deleted about 15 of them I no longer needed. Coach Natalie said it is a work in progress and there will be more changes and sorting will probably come back too.

I have cut it down to about 487 or so now, still no where near workable. I fear it would be most efficient and easiest to simply delete them all and rebuild as needed. Sad day! But I love the fact that they are changing the way in which rules work, just wish the roll out was smoother and more thought out.

word of warning to others, something's not quite right with the new rules.

i noticed that my "dunkin' mobile" transaction was getting categorized as "US Mobile". that is because i have an existing rule that is for ["us" "mobile"].

this means that the "us" got ignored somehow, and just "mobile" was matched. i didn't think much of it, but i went into the settings, double-checked, it looked ok, and i hit save and applied to all past transactions. big mistake.

the preview of transactions impacted is temporarily removed. unfortunately for me, every single transaction with "mobile", including all credit card payments, transfers, check deposits, etc. all got miscategorized for the past 2 years. and…there's no undo.

I have had a similar issue to this as well, also none of my balances are correct, yet they blame the bank (probably because they know if we go to the bank it will go no where). I am on my way out the door with this product and more importantly company. Every single week there is a net new issue where there is no good work around. It's one issue after another none stop.

Ok I will get off my soap box, for now.

Yep, it's real dangerous (I found out a few years ago) to check the Apply to all Past Transactions. (I think this might have even been the default when I started with Simplifi). Since this is an online product, we really need an option to go back or Undo even if it's just to yesterday.
