Issue with Recurring Series - Frequency & Occurrence - Select one or more days in the month
If I try to change anything about an existing Series that was created before the "Frequency & Occurence" tab was added to the Series UI, I get a "Required" error on the "Select one more more days in the month" field even though there is a value in the field. I can even try to change the value to another value, but I still get the Required error.
At this point the only workaround is to delete the series and create a new one.

Hello @floridaman5000,
Thanks for reaching out! I was unable to replicate this issue on our side. To help us clarify your situation, when did you notice this behavior, and have you tried editing the series in a different browser/incognito mode to see if that works?
Thank you,
Coach Jon

This has actually been going on for quite a while. Probably at least 6 month to a year, if not longer, but I see it relatively infrequently because changing the date on a series is not something I do very often. I'll give it a try in a different browser and see if that makes a difference.

@Coach Jon I normally use Chrome. I just tried it on Firefox and had the same issue.

I have not seen this happen, but I also will try to reproduce it the way you say by changing something about the event on the first page. I am away from a desktop web browser so cannot check it right now.

@floridaman5000 I had it happen some and I found changing it to every 12 months from every year fixed it. Then you can change it back to every year.

I just edited the NAME of a series and had this happen, there doesn't seem to be any way around this besides @SRC54 's fix until this gets reported and fixed. I hope one of the coaches catches that this is a bug.
Steps to reproduce:
(1) Edit an EXISTING series (with annual)
(2) change the name description text slightly
(3) Save/update
(4) First it will prompt to select a month (wasn't this already set?)
(5) Next, there is no way around picking the day of the month (the error won't clear)
-It is unclear if this particular recurring series was created before the frequency tab was added, i don't know if that's a factor.

I think this post is a duplicate topic of this one:

Thanks! With this workaround I was able to successfully save my changes to the Amount and the Date by changing it to "every 12 months". However I was not able to change it back to Yearly as I was still getting the same error, so I need to just leave it as "every 12 months" unless the original issue gets fixed.

Hello @floridaman5000,
I was still unable to replicate this issue on our side, even with the steps provided by @RobWilk. To clarify, did you edit an existing series that you have had for a while? Does this occur when editing a newly created series? Can you also provide a screenshot showing the new issue you ran into with the "every 12 months"?
Thanks,
Coach Jon
