Mobile App: Quick Add Transaction (edited)

I wish there was a easier/quicker way to manually add transaction when launching the app on iOS. currently its buried a under the all transaction screen, but would be helpful and quicker to access from the main/dashboard screen also.
Perhaps an "+Add" button at the top of the dashboard? or included as an option on the customize dashboard?
Even a Quick Action from the app icon on the iPhone Home Screen?

I'm a Mint refugee and one Mint feature I miss is the easy ability to manually enter cash transactions on the go through the app. Every time I made a purchase in cash, I would whip out my phone, tap the plus button in the Mint app, and enter the details of the transaction.

In Simplifi, in order to enter a cash transaction, I have to open the app, navigate to the Transactions or Accounts page, then select the account I'm using to track cash transactions in order to manually input the cash transaction. There should be a button on the main page of the Simplifi app for manually adding transactions, and an option to set a default account for placement of those transactions (I would select my cash-tracking account).

I usually go to the transactions page and use the plus sign on the top right to add a transaction. I do need to select an account from the dropdown in the transaction box.

Also, I was not able to enter cash transactions to a manual cash account from Mint, I had to do that on the web Mint app.

It will be preferrable to have the add transaction button plus sign also on the dashboard in the mobile app.

Assuming that a widget is too much to ask for since Simplifi hasn't provided any to date, how about simply adding a plus (+) sign button to the top or bottom-right of the dashboard display, just like the blue'ish one I clicked on to create this request. Clicking the plus (+) button would then take you directly to the manual transaction entry display. Currently, you must open the app, click the hamburger top-left, click All Transactions, then finally click the plus (+).

For users that came over from YNAB or EveryDollar, entering transactions in advance at the time of purchase while the details such as categories are still fresh in your mind is a multiple times a day occurrence. Their add transaction buttons are prominently on the first screen you see. Yes, waiting for the transaction to download is more convenient, but that sometimes takes days and you may have forgotten what you purchased and any splits necessary to record.

i agree with @schmidtfamilyxyz , [removed] has this figured out, entering transactions manually is so much simpler. Allowing the user to do this in seconds whilst out and about…

Using the iphone app, to manually add a transaction to an account, you have to fumble through to find the account then add the tranaction. How about a quick add button for marked accounts, for common accounts?
