Valic/AIG Retirement connection dropping every month
Since the data breach involving Valic/AIG Retirement (Corebridge), I have consistently encountered difficulties in establishing and maintaining connections. After being disconnected for months, and a couple of months with 2 of the 3 accounts connected, I finally got all accounts connected. Now several months later Valic is dropping me at least once a month and reconnecting without deleting the accounts is very hard. With Simplifi tracking gains deleting the account to reconnect is not a good option. Here is an account of my last reconnect attempts, previous months were somewhat similar. Two weeks ago the account disconnected. Multiple tries of reconnect never worked, even when I entered my valid account user name and password. Most often I got Account Already Connect after about 5 minutes. I also got Account not reachable at this times. Yesterday I went to accounts and tried Reset but it did not work. The morning I tried reset accounts and it found the accounts but wanted to link. I linked and Added but the accounts still showed zero. Some how about an hour later, I got an options to connect again and this brought my account balance back but I had the red exclamation mark. The second time I did try again, fixed the accounts and I have 2 months of gains showing. Computers are the only thing where doing the same thing again gets different results. Anyone know a way to make life with Valic easier?

Hello @N4KHQ,
Thanks for reaching out! I am glad to hear that the connection with Valic/AIG retirement is currently working for you. I am not sure why you may be having these intermittent difficulties, but it may be due to the way the FI updates / sends data to Quicken Simplifi. I would keep an eye on this and let us know if you are unable to connect again in the future so we can help troubleshoot at that time.
