Applying a renaming rule to existing transactions not working?

I just set up a simple rule to rename a payee and checked the box to apply the rule to all existing transactions, but once I saved the rule when I go back to my transactions, the payee name hasn't been changed to what the rule says.
Anyone experiencing this?

Thanks for reaching out! I am not sure why the rule would not apply to existing transactions unless maybe a typo or something along those lines occurred. I would verify that everything was entered correctly and make sure all steps were followed for creating a rule in this article:
