Simplifi Not Updating Transactions for ufcu.org

EVERY SINGLE MONTH there is at least one ongoing multi-day interruption in the fetching of transactions from ufcu.org. The only way to cure this ongoing failing has been to reconnect with ufcu, but now even that no longer works.

I have flagged this issue any number of times for your attention, but there is seemingly no progress at all and I really do need some confirmation that this is in fact a recognized ongoing priority to be fixed.

    To help troubleshoot this issue, please provide more information. What error messages/codes are you seeing? Are you seeing the same errors that you mentioned in your previous post? If you're not seeing any errors, then is the issue that it's connected, but no new transactions are downloading?

    There are no error messages. There is no "!" sign to show no update is taking place.
    I have previously been coached that I should connect to ufcu.org again, then do an update. That has usually worked, but now it appears to no longer update at all.

    The account totals are correct for all the subaccounts I have at ufcu, but transactions are just…missing.

    Just in case this might have something to do with it: the missing transactions were direct deposits (social security checks). I just did a funds transfer between my UFCU checking and savings account, then went to Simplifi and did a refresh there. The transfer showed up, but the direct deposits still aren't showing up. That seems to indicate that the problem is with the handling of direct deposits. That help?

    Thanks for the update. In order to help us verify what exactly is happening with your situation, can you provide the following information?

    • The name of the account the transactions are missing from, as it appears in Quicken Simplifi.
    • The Date, Payee, and Amount of a few example transactions that are currently missing in Quicken Simplifi.
    • A screenshot of the example transactions from the bank's website.
    • A screenshot of the corresponding register in Quicken Simplifi showing that the transactions are missing.
    • Confirm whether the missing transactions are impacting the balance in Quicken Simplifi or not.

    Additionally, I would suggest trying with a fresh connection. You can make the accounts manual and then use the Add Account flow to get a completely fresh connection. If the connection is successful, you'll then want to link the accounts to your existing Quicken Simplifi accounts. Let us know how that goes!

    As noted, the problem is with University Federal Credit Union (of Texas): www.ufcu.org. The account in Simplifi is "UFCU Checking". The balance as shown in Simplifi is correct. The first picture is from the Simplifi "Transactions" page; the second picture from UFCU.

    Doing ongoing workarounds to correct a program defect really isn't an option I'm willing to entertain for a paid service.

    I am happy to report the missing Social Security transactions now appear in Simpli!!

    There was another transaction which deposited money into that same checking account on 12/17. It is NOT showing up. For reference purposed, it's listed in the credit union as ACH REFID:124674242906.

    That transaction appeared this morning so it now appears all is well. Thank you very much for intervening on my behalf.
