I have tried using only local drive locations and I have disabled one drive. I even tried using a USB drive as the

Even with using only local storage and one drive disabled, the error persists.

That is a Quicken Classic screenshot, this is Quicken Simplifi community which is completely different software/service (from the same vendor).

    Hello @cbsather,

As @RobWilk said, you'll get better help from the Quicken Community.

The error in your screenshot typically happens when Quicken is trying to backup the file and is seeing that the file is already in use by another user or program. Since you mentioned it's on your local hard drive and you disabled OneDrive, then the culprit may be antivirus software. If you're using an anti-virus, try pausing it when you backup your Quicken file.

    I hope this helps!
