No option to choose Cleared or Pending in iPhone or iPad app
While you can set a transaction on the webpage as cleared or pending, you cannot in the iphone app or ipad app. It’s like whoever developed it never even noticed it was missing. Very sad. Please fix.

Hi @wareagle1988 I can set it in my iPhone app as pending or cleared. It's a button in the middle of the transaction entry field. It says Transaction Status. It's in the same place in the iPad App. Let me know if you don't see it.

Hello @wareagle1988,
To clarify, are you encountering this issue when you're trying to create a new transaction with the account already selected? If so, then I'm seeing the same thing that you are.
Fortunately, there is a work around. If you add a transaction from the all transactions section, rather than from within an account, you should have the option to select pending or cleared.

When testing this on my end, I am seeing the following on my Android:
- When entering a transaction from a connected account directly, I am able to change the status.
- When entering a transaction from a manual account directly, the status options are missing.
- When entering a transaction from All Transactions, I am able to change the status regardless of whether a connected or a manual account is selected in the form.
With that, are you entering the transaction into a manual account from the account directly? We need to try to narrow down and confirm the behavior as much as possible, as well as identify the platform(s) it's occurring on, before filing a bug report.

Oh, now I see. I rarely enter transactions on the iOS app but when I do, it is always from Transactions and not from the Specific Account so I never encountered this "bug. So on my phone, when I go to Accounts, Enter Transaction, it gives me the choice with connected accounts as I expect but on Manual accounts, it assumes it is Cleared. In the Web App, it merely defaults to Cleared for Manual Accounts but you can change it to Pending.
I guess this was probably by design, but I know there is a problem for me if I do enter a transfer in a manual account as Cleared because Simplifi will mark it Cleared as well in my checking account, which won't work as it will definitely be pending there for a day or two.
So I think we should have the choice on the Phone Apps as well as in the Web App.
