Savings Goals do not work! Unusable!
Again I am having issues with Savings Goals keeping track of the correct current balance.
Many times I have contributed to a goal, then look at the goal page and the goal amount is not updated to reflect the new amount added.
I had recently deleted and recreated a Savings Goal (because the previous one had gotten completely corrupted and I was told that was the only way to get it back to normal.
So this new Goal was created and had a zero balance. I performed a contribution to that goal of $100.00.
In the web app, on the Savings Goals "By Goal" page, this goal still shows zero as the amount in the goal!
However, if I look at the Savings Goals "By Account" page, the goal shows the correct $100 balance.
This makes the use of goals completely useless. I have no idea if the "Savings Goals" and "Available Balance" amounts shown on the Account bar include this $100 or not.
I don't know if I should try to Withdraw from the goal and try again, or delete the goal and create it AGAIN!

Hello @tobyN,
I'm sorry to hear you're encountering this issue. To help troubleshoot this, please provide more information. Are you encountering this only in the Web app, or are you also seeing it in the Mobile app?
If you haven't already done so, I recommend that you log out of the Web app, then log back in again. Once you've logged back in, please check to see if the issue is resolved.
Please let me know how it goes!

This was in the webapp, but it was not showing the $100 balance for that savings goal in the iPhone app either.
I can't log out and back in at this point, because I ended up just deleting the goal and recreating it. This isn't the first time that the "By Goal
and "By Account" savings goal screens have gotten out of sync.Quicken since 1995. Simplifi since 2023.

Here is a thread for the same issue I reported back in Dec 2023.

Hello @tobyN,
Thanks for the reply. To clarify, to resolve the issue, you just deleted and recreated the savings goal, correct? In that case, I am glad the issue was resolved. I would suggest keeping an eye on things, and if it happens again soon please let us know!

Yes, that is correct. Deleted the savings goal and then created a new goal. Then performed the same contribution of $100 and it showed correctly on both the "By Goal" and "By Account" Savings Goal screens (in the web app).
