2 different credit cards pulling in same numbers (quicken simplifi) - Discover

Not sure how to resolve this but I have 2 Discover cards both with different card numbers on the same Discover account. For ease of discussion, ill just name each card, card 1 and card 2. Simplifi pulls in transactions from card 1 just fine but then duplicates those same transactions for card 2, totally ignoring what card 2's transactions are. Whats going on? How would I solve this? Ive already disconnected and reconnected accounts. THanks!

    Hello @b16707,

    I'm sorry to hear you're encountering this problem. Based on your description, is sounds like one card is a sub-account of the other (for instance, a Primary cardholder and an Authorized User). Is that correct? Also, to clarify, are card 2's transactions downloading at all in either account?

    I look forward to your response!

    @Coach Kristina thanks

    This is not a primary vs authorized user situation. These are two different accounts/cards under the same login. Card 2's transactions are not importing at all. If i click into Card 2 inside Simplifi, it shows me exactly what Card 1's transactions are therefore a complete 1:1 duplicate.

    Hello @b16707,

    Thanks for the reply and clarification. I can see from our side that you are using the Discover Bank instance in Quicken Simplifi. I would suggest trying the Discover Card instance to see if you are able to get better results.

    You can make the accounts manual and then use the Add Account flow to connect to the Discover Card instance instead. If the connection is successful, you'll then want to link the accounts to your existing Quicken Simplifi accounts that were previously under the Discover Bank instance.

    Let us know how that goes!
