How do I go about linking my home loan and student loan accounts? When I use the add account feature; an error message populates.
It sounds like the banks you use are supported (you got as far as an error message) but there are connection issues. Connection issues could be something like a known outage at your particular bank, to an unkown issue, to a temporary outage (maybe bank connection down for maintenance on weekend, such as this extended holiday weekend), it could be a mis-typed username or password, it could be a time-out (bank took too long to respond), or something else.
The coaches here (not me) may be able to help you better if you give (guessing):
(1) The name of the financial institution(s)
(2) The text of the error message (usually a code like FDP-10x or TO-100 or something like that, along with some descriptive text that may be with it).
