Table Style Reports in Simplifi
I've been a user of Simplifi for years, and enjoy most of the product. I feel like the recurring bill tracking, account balance projections, and the spending plan really set it apart of the other options in the space.
While there are a significant amount of positives within the platform, I feel that reporting is a significant weak-point. It is incredible difficult to dive into month over month data, or view all of your expenses in one place. A traditional P&L style report option that allows you to look at current year, prior year, past 3/6 months, etc (in line with the timeline options currently available) would be incredibly beneficial. Being able to only view that information in a for pie chart/bar graph is very limiting, especially when you have custom categories set up the require a significant amount activity to be lumped into the "everything else" portion of the visualization.
Is there anything on the roadmap for reporting improvements? With the release of the Simplifi Business and Personal product, it looks like some of these types or reports are already created within the Simplifi architecture. Are there are there any plans to allow that type of reporting into basic Simplifi?

As a side note note, I tried searching for any posts around this topic before posting, but the search function now blends B&P information in with regular Simplifi, so most of the topics that I could find were pertinent to that new product as opposed to Simplifi.

Hello @jtb36,
Thanks for reaching out and providing feedback. I know we do have an idea post for a Profit & Loss style report that you can vote for here:
We also have an idea post for a Cash Flow style report that you can vote for here:
If you come up with another report or idea you think others may be interested in, feel free to submit an idea post as well!

If I wanted to try the additional reporting options of business and personal, is there a way to migrate data from the standard product to the new one?

Hello @jtb36
Thanks for the reply. I would try signing into My Account directly at quicken.com to see if you are able to change to Quicken Business & Personal yourself there. Then, the next time you sign in you should have access to the Quicken Business & Personal features. If that does not work, then I would advise you to reach out to our support agents directly to get assistance with switching your subscription.
I hope this helps!
